Interviewed
I had a great interview with the sci-fi publishing website Grail Runner. It was super fun, and I got a chance to talk a lot about and in depth about the origins and direction of Future Fighter. It was really nice to take a step back and remember the things that made me want to make the game in the first place as well as answer some very specific questions about the core nature of the elements... read more

Features are not the Game
In making this sci-fi fighting game #FutureFighter, it's easy to get bogged down in the details of whatever feature you are currently working on. I mean, let's face it. Programming is fun and creating fun things for your gamers to use in your game is about as fun as it gets; however, if you get too focused on those individual features then your run the risk of sinking too much time into a very ... read more

Inspire
It's been an interesting month of development for this sci-fi fighting game #FutureFighter. I had a chance to demo the game with a great friend who I have enormous respect for as a gamer, thinker, and human being. The feedback was amazing, and it lead me to converse with 2 game developers with likewise credentials. What came out of it was not only of value, but also the value of the game in the... read more

So, I gave the PC a physical and low and behold it was worse than I thought. I found a slig... read more

If you're on the outside of an opponent looking for an attack, it might not be the best time to rush in for a takedown; however, cracking their knee or leg with a axe-style roundhouse kick when they plant to jab works like a charm. Conversely, when you're opponent is ... read more

Time Jujitsu
One thing about being a doctor is that time is your pressure point. No wait. It's more than a pressure point. It's a master of jujitsu, and when you add to your schedule making a sci-fi fighting game like Future Fighter (TM), it puts your back against the wall, locks you down, and cuts off your air supply all at the same time. In this situation, you have two options: tap out or fight back. As y... read more
